Recount Writing-At the Park
WALT use the correct structure and language for Recount Writing.
At the park On a hot sunny Saturday me and my family went to the park in Kaikohe. The first thing me and my brother did when we got to the park was to grab out our bikes. Next we had races. I won and my brother lost. We had more races while my sister was playing on the Park. The next thing we did was we played on the half pipe. When we were trying to climb up we slid down. The ramp got hot. Then we played in the bowl. We found a trolley in it. When we got in the trolley. It was so hard to get out It took 2 minutes to get out. Finally we got out. After that me and my sister and my brother played on the park. My sister played on the monkey bars while me and my brother played on the swings. We went clock ways. Finally we went to play tag on the field. My sister was in for 1 minute. Me and my brother were fast.

Recount writing:On my 9th bithday
On my 9th birthday.
On Monday after school me and my family and my cousins and my Aunty Milly and Uncle Kevin went to King wah in Paihia.
After school we went to Kingwah for my 9th birthday. When we got to King Wah we had to walk from the carpark to the restaurant. I like going to Kingwah because of the ice-cream. It was cold as ice and sweet as honey. The ice-cream there is like the ice-cream at MacDonald’s.
The food at King Wah is yummier than anything.
After that we went for a walk. When we went for a walk Rio’s mum got angry because Rio grabbed 2 lollipops and then we had to chase him. Only my cousin chased him because he was fast.
Next we went home and played card games.
