I am learning to use the correct structure for recount writing.

At the Market day.

On Friday afternoon me and my family went to the market day in Tautoro.

First my and my sister and my brother went to get our money from my mum.

Next we went to buy some tickets to buy a drink.

Later on me and William R went to play on the Senior’s park.

Then my dad and I went to go get an iceblock up at the window and it was cold.

After that when the Market finished me and my family went home.

WALT use the correct structure and language for Persuasive Writing.

We should do homework every night.

I think we should do homework every night.

Firstly I think we should do homework every night so we can practise our learning and we can get better at our learning.

Secondly I think we should do homework every night so we can get smarter because by giving your brain a workout .

Another reason I think we should do homework every night so we can achieve our learning goals by helping us practice our learning.

Lastly I think we should do homework every night so we can have free time with mum and dad.

So that’s why I think we should do homework every night.

From Seeds to feed

Seed to feed 1/12/17

In Room 3 we have been growing plants to sell at our School Market Day.

We have grown seeds such as corn and tomato and sunflowers and sIlverbeet and many more.

For 9 weeks we have watered our plants and kept them healthy.  They like sun, nutrients and the right temperature.

I felt happy and excited when my class was growing plants because we will be feeding lots of families healthy vegetables.
