I went to the park.

On Monday morning me and my family went to the park in Kaikohe to have fun.

I felt pumped up  and excited.

When we got to the park we saw lots of things to play on at the park. I said, “Come with me to play on the  playground.”

The first thing I did at the park was I played on the swing. I felt glad and happy because I liked swinging high on the swing.

Next we went to the skate bowl. I said to my brother, “Let’s play tag with our skateboards. I felt keen playing tag on my skateboard with my brother.

After that me and my brother went to play on the ropes. I felt pleased and joyful when I was climbing up the ropes.

At the park.

Yahoo! On Tuesday after breakfast me and my mum and my brother went to the park in Kaikohe.

First I played on the swing. When I played on the swing I felt glad because it was fun playing on the swing.

Next me and my brother went to play in the

Skate bowl at the park. We played tag with our skateboards. We were going fast. It was amazing riding our skateboards fast as.     

Then me and my brother played on the two big ramps. It was fun climbing up the ramps.  

After that we played on the playground.

This time we played on the slide. It was great because we were trying to slide down together.

We had a cool time at the park.

My Speech 2017

Here I am delivering my speech at the Tautoro School Junior Speech competition.

The judges were marking me on showing confidence, good pace

and volume, speaking clearly, audience connection, use of gestures and timing.

I came 3rd for the Year 2's in Room 2.

Recount Writing-Playing rugby in Okaihau.

I am learning to add some details to my ideas.

On Saturday morning my team, Tautoro Titans

and I, played rugby in Okaihau.

First we practiced to be good rugby players.

Our first game was against the Okaihau team.

The game was fun because the tackling was fun.

The next team we played was Kerikeri. The game was excellent because I like the  kicking.

Then we lost against both games.

I had a good day.
