On Friday afternoon me and my family went to the market day in Tautoro.

First my and my sister and my brother went to get our money from my mum.

Next we went to buy some tickets to buy a drink.

Later on me and William R went to play on the Senior’s park.

Then my dad and I went to go get an iceblock up at the window and it was cold.

After that when the Market finished me and my family went home.

We should do homework every night.

I think we should do homework every night.

Firstly I think we should do homework every night so we can practise our learning and we can get better at our learning.

Secondly I think we should do homework every night so we can get smarter because by giving your brain a workout .

Another reason I think we should do homework every night so we can achieve our learning goals by helping us practice our learning.

Lastly I think we should do homework every night so we can have free time with mum and dad.

So that’s why I think we should do homework every night.

From Seeds to feed

Seed to feed 1/12/17

In Room 3 we have been growing plants to sell at our School Market Day.

We have grown seeds such as corn and tomato and sunflowers and sIlverbeet and many more.

For 9 weeks we have watered our plants and kept them healthy.  They like sun, nutrients and the right temperature.

I felt happy and excited when my class was growing plants because we will be feeding lots of families healthy vegetables.

Number Knowledge: Stage 4.

I am learning to read any number to 1000.

Number Knowledge.

I am learning to count forwards and backwards in 1's and 10's.

I am learning to read with expression.

TE Reo Maori-Kei te haere ... ki hea?

I am learning to get faster and more accurate with my basic facts.

Yay! I scored 100% on my basic fact test.

Whangarei pools.

On Sunday morning me and my family and my cousin went to Whangarei pools.

At the Whangarei Pools first me and my brother and my dad went into the wave pool. It was cool.

Next me and my dad went down the highslide. That was a bit scary because the slide was high.

After that me and my dad took my 2 little cousins into the the cold pool and they liked the cold pool.

Later on me and my family and my cousin went to go to play on the floats.

Finally we went to go get some PIZZA and some KFC and some drinks for lunch. It was yummy and delicious.

I think we should play sport every day.

Firstly why I think we should play sport every day so we can get fit by running around.

When we are doing sports  we lose water.  We have to

drink some more water to replace the water we lost by sweating.

so our mouth and my body doesn’t get dry.

It is very healthy for our body.

Kapahaka is important to learn.

I think that kapahaka is important to learn.

First I think kapahaka is important because

we learn to sing in time.

Secondly I think kapahaka is important because it helps us to get fit.

Another reason why I think kapahaka is important is because we learn lots of different songs and actions.

Lastly I think kapahaka is important because

we learn how to keep the beat.

So that’s why I think kapahaka is important.

I am learning to get faster and more accurate with solving grouping problems.

I improved my score by 13 points. I got much faster at answering each problem.

At the shop.

On Tuesday morning me and my family went to Countdown in Kaikohe to do some shopping.

When me and my mum got into the shop it was cold as ice.

First me and my mum went to go get some things for me and my brother’s lunch to take to school.

Next we went to go get some stuff to cook for our tea.

Then we went to go get some stuff for our breakfast.

It was cool fun shopping with my Mum. I liked it.

Later on me and my mum went to go get some medicine at the chemist for me and my brother.

At the park

On Sunday morning me and my family went to the park in Kaikohe. When me and my family got to the park.

I saw lots of thing to play on.

I felt glad and joyful.

The first thing I did was I played on the swing.

I said to my dad, “Can you push me higher.” That was awesome fun.

Next I went to go play in the skate bowl with our skateboards. It was cool skating around the skate bowl.

Then me and my sister went to go play on the slide. My sister had great fun sliding down the slide.

After that we went to play on the ramp.

Later on me and my brother went to go play on the monkey bars. Finally we went to play on the swing again.

I felt an amazing and super day.

I felt pumped up  and excited.

When we got to the park we saw lots of things to play on at the park. I said, “Come with me to play on the  playground.”

The first thing I did at the park was I played on the swing. I felt glad and happy because I liked swinging high on the swing.

Next we went to the skate bowl. I said to my brother, “Let’s play tag with our skateboards. I felt keen playing tag on my skateboard with my brother.

After that me and my brother went to play on the ropes. I felt pleased and joyful when I was climbing up the ropes.

At the park.

Yahoo! On Tuesday after breakfast me and my mum and my brother went to the park in Kaikohe.

First I played on the swing. When I played on the swing I felt glad because it was fun playing on the swing.

Next me and my brother went to play in the

Skate bowl at the park. We played tag with our skateboards. We were going fast. It was amazing riding our skateboards fast as.     

Then me and my brother played on the two big ramps. It was fun climbing up the ramps.  

After that we played on the playground.

This time we played on the slide. It was great because we were trying to slide down together.

We had a cool time at the park.

My Speech 2017

Here I am delivering my speech at the Tautoro School Junior Speech competition.

The judges were marking me on showing confidence, good pace

and volume, speaking clearly, audience connection, use of gestures and timing.

I came 3rd for the Year 2's in Room 2.

On Saturday morning my team, Tautoro Titans

and I, played rugby in Okaihau.

First we practiced to be good rugby players.

Our first game was against the Okaihau team.

The game was fun because the tackling was fun.

The next team we played was Kerikeri. The game was excellent because I like the  kicking.

Then we lost against both games.

I had a good day.

On Sunday afternoon I went to my nana's house with my brother. We played on my nana’s computer. I played on Friv and I played on Sonic.

In the morning me and my brother went home to my mum and dad. I had a turn on my dad’s phone.
